Veteran Nigerian Musician Folarin Falana popularly known as Falz, has taken to his Twitter handle to say Nigerians need to work together to get rid of the Dysfunctional system that allows Women to be taken advantage of.

He made this tweet in the light of the Trending BBC “sex for grades” video which has exposed some university senior lecturers who sexually harass students.

Falz who is well known for his songs which normally address the situation of the country wrote, ‘I dont think this is a time for baseless anonymity, I have and will always speak up against all forms of sexual abuses Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow. what we should be doing is working together to get rid of this Dysfunctional system that allows Women to be taken advantage of’.

However before Falz Tweeted on this issue, One Twitter user Ozzy Etomi had called him out for being silent.

She wrote: “where is falz, a topic he’s passionate about has been trending all day and we havent heard a peep”

Another Twitter user Kelvin Odunz in his tweet wrote “The truth remains that Falz has to say something about this issue of sexual harassment . Even if every prominent figure in the country talks about it, Falz needs to say something. His opinion is most important once he talks, sexual harassment will disappear from our universities.

Recall that Hotjist.com reported that one of the lecturers exposed in the viral sex scandal, Pastor, Dr. Boniface Igbenegu who was caught on tape prepositioning an admission seeker for sex has been suspended indefinitely from all UNILAG and church activities.
