JUST IN: MUDASHIRU OBASA RE-ELECTED AS SPEAKER, LAGOS ASSEMBLY

In a twist of events, ousted former Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa; has been re-elected as the Speaker of the Assembly.
Also, Mojisola Meranda; who had earlier resigned from her position as the Speaker of the House has been elected as the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly.
The announcement was during on-going plenary session of the House at the Assembly Complex, Alausa, Ikeja.
In a unanimous voice vote, all the present members voted for the emergence of Mojisola Meranda as Deputy Speaker.
