2026 WCQ: TICKET PRICES SET AT N3,000 AND N1,000 FOR SUPER EAGLES VS AMAVUBI CLASH

Football enthusiasts will be required to pay the amounts of N3,000 and N1,000, respectively, to attend the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match on Saturday between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Rwanda’s Amavubi at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

Tickets for the VIP section will be priced at N3,000, while general seating will be available for N1,000 at designated locations throughout the Uyo metropolis starting Friday morning. Alizor Chuks, the NFF’s Director of Marketing and Sponsorship, stated on Wednesday: “It is crucial to inform the public that the NFF Security Committee has initiated a comprehensive crackdown on all ticket fraudsters this time. Ticket counterfeiters and scalpers will face consequences.

“All tickets will undergo scanning at the entry points. All prospective attendees are encouraged to purchase their tickets from authorized ticket vendors. Individuals selling or possessing counterfeit tickets will be apprehended and prosecuted. ”

In anticipation of Saturday’s match, the Amavubi team arrived at the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, at 5:28 PM on Tuesday. The delegation was headed by the newly elected President of the Rwandaise de Football Association (FERWAFA), Fabrice Shema Agoga. They were warmly welcomed by representatives of the local organizing committee and are currently accommodated at the Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort, Uyo.

They are scheduled to conduct training at the practice facility of the Nest of Champions at 4 PM on Wednesday.
