Speaking on Arise Television’s Prime Time, Nwanyanwu noted the growing tension in the FCT, saying alliances are shifting and some candidates are being persuaded to step down in favor of others. He also referenced a recent Supreme Court ruling that has affected one of the parties.

“FCT residents have a pattern when voting. They are not swayed by noise or arrogance,” he said. “This election on Saturday, the votes must be counted, and INEC should test the IREV system.”

He criticized candidates who display overconfidence, saying, “Some people thought they would win everywhere and dismiss others, but they will be disappointed. Local politics is different from national politics. You may not support the president’s party in this election, but that doesn’t mean you don’t support the president in other elections.”

Nwanyanwu added, “When someone arrogantly boasts that they are ‘god’ or ‘all’, it’s not right. Some people think they can determine everything in these elections, but that can only work outside Abuja. Watch and see the outcome on Saturday.”
