The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has officially launched the Electronic Physical Planning Permit Processing System (EPPPS), a digital platform designed to simplify and modernise the planning permit application process across the state.
The initiative, powered by the Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority (LASPPPA), aims to streamline the process through which residents and developers apply for and obtain planning permits and building approvals.
With the introduction of the EPPPS platform, applicants can now conveniently submit and process their planning permit applications online from the comfort of their homes, offices, or anywhere in the world.
The system is designed to make the permit approval process faster, easier, and more accessible, while reducing bureaucratic bottlenecks associated with manual processing.
The digital platform is also expected to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability in physical planning administration across Lagos State, ensuring that development activities comply with established regulations and planning standards.
According to the General Manager of LASPPPA, Tpl. Kehinde Osinaike, the EPPPS represents another significant step in the ongoing efforts of the Sanwo-Olu administration to leverage technology and innovation to improve service delivery, while making it easier for residents and investors to engage in legitimate property development within the state.
He encouraged residents, developers, and stakeholders to take advantage of the platform by applying for their planning permits online through the newly launched system.
The launch of the EPPPS, he said, underscores Lagos State Government’s commitment to building a smart, responsive, and digitally driven governance system that meets the needs of its rapidly growing population.
