Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández’s agent, Javier Pastore, has insisted that the 25-year-old has no plans to leave the club, describing any criticism or disciplinary action over his recent remarks as “completely unfair.”

In an interview with The Athletic FC on Friday, Pastore explained that Enzo was simply asked which European city he would like to live in someday, and he mentioned Madrid.

“He never mentioned any club or indicated that he wants to leave Chelsea,” Pastore said, adding that the midfielder’s comments were misinterpreted.

The agent stressed that Enzo has never expressed a desire to leave London or the club, affirming that his commitment remains with Chelsea.

The statement comes amid fan and pundit speculation that Fernández’s remarks hinted at discontent or a potential transfer. Pastore sought to reassure supporters that the midfielder is fully focused on his career in London.

This clarification follows Chelsea’s decision, confirmed by manager Liam Rosenior, to suspend Fernández for two upcoming matches after his comments were deemed to have “crossed a line.”
