Around 4:20 PM, Tinubu landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport’s Presidential Wing.

In his capacity as the Chairman of the Authority of the Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), President Tinubu attended the event. On Saturday, he departed from Abuja.

While in Nairobi, the President worked with other African leaders to produce a declaration that reaffirmed Africa’s power and solidarity while categorically rejecting the idea of a fresh race for the continent.
Additionally, he showed his dedication to ECOWAS Standby Force expansion in order to prevent coups and fight terrorism in the area.

Top government officials, including Senator George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo, and Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, former governor of Kano State, met the President at the airport.
