
STRATEGIC ALLIANCE FOR LEADERSHIP EXCELLENCE: LJLA, LAGOS CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION JOIN FORCES
In a bid to foster collaboration and enhance leadership development within Lagos State, particularly the Civil Service, the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy (LJLA) recently paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Civil Service Commission (CSC) Office in Alausa, Ikeja.
Led by the Executive Secretary, Mrs. Ayisat Agbaje-Okunade, the delegation was warmly received by the Chairman of CSC, Mrs. Olubunmi Fabamwo and the Commissioner IV, Hon. Hodewu Avoseh. The visit aimed to explore avenues for cooperation and exchange of ideas between the two institutions.
Mrs. Agbaje-Okunade reiterated the commitment of LJLA to grooming visionary leaders and the importance of partnering with CSC to adequately provide training programmes tailored to the needs of civil servants while creating awareness for the Academy’s upcoming activities in ways that they can benefit from its initiatives and programmes.
On her part, the CSC Chairman emphasised the importance of continuous learning and professional development in driving organisational growth and excellence, while expressing readiness to leverage its resources and expertise to support the Academy’s efforts in nurturing young change-oriented individuals.
Mr. Bola Agbabiaka, Director of Policy, Programme, Support and Monitoring, (CSC) commended the initiatives of LJLA and expressed enthusiasm about the prospect of collaboration and the significance of building a competent and efficient workforce capable of meeting the demands of governance and public service delivery.
