NEYMAR WANTED TO CANCELĀ PSG TRANSFER
A repentant Neymar tried to pull the plug on his world-record move to Paris Saint-Germain before the deal was even signed, claims Marca.
The Brazilian became the world’s most expensive player this summer when he swapped Barcelona for the French capital in aĀ ā¬222 million transfer. But he was apparently distraught upon finalising the paperwork, and asked Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu to cancel the deal.
Thanks to the manoeuvrings of father and agent Neymar Sr., however, the deal reportedly was completed against the player’s wishes.
BETIS LOOK TO SIGN WILSHERE
La Liga side Betis are closing in on a move for unsettled Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, according to theĀ Sun.
Wilshere is one of several Gunners stars whose current deals are coming to an end at the end of the season.

PREMIER LEAGUE SIDES WANT MARI
Manchester City defender Pablo Mari has attracted attention from a host of the leaders’ Premier League rivals, according to the Daily Mail.

The Spaniard’s hulking 6’3″ frame and skill on the ball has caught the eye of several clubs, who are interested in taking him from the Etihad Stadium.
ARSENAL WILL SWAP ALEXIS FOR STERLING
Alexis Sanchez may be allowed to join Manchester City if the Citizens are willing to release Raheem Sterling as part of the deal, claims the Daily Mail.
Arsenal’s Chilean star has been widely linked with a move to join Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium, although the Gunners have as of yet refused to sanction a transfer.
But his contract is up at the end of the season, and Sterling would be an acceptable makeweight to allow Arsenal to cut their losses, although it is far from clear whether Pep would agree to such a deal.
EVERTON MAKE SECOND MOVE FOR SILVA
Everton are undeterred in their pursuit of MarcoĀ Silva and will approach the Wolves manager a second time, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The Toffees have been without a permanent trainer since sacking Ronald Koeman, and have placed Silva at the top of their wishlist.
So far efforts to convince him to leave the Championship table-toppers have failed, but Everton plan to make another attempt to land the Portuguese manager.
BAYERN WANT GIROUD
Bayern Munich are eyeing a move for a back-up striker to Robert Lewandowski, with Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud seen as a possible target, according toĀ Sport Bild .
The FrenchmanĀ has seen his opportunities limited at Emirates Stadium in recent times, with the summer signing ofĀ Alexandre Lacazette further blocking his path to the starting XI.
Ajax forward Kasper Dolberg is seen as another option, with the Dane having apparently caught the attention of a number of Europe’s top clubs with his performances.
MAN UTD IDENTIFY NO.1 JANUARY TARGET
Manchester United have made Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler their No.1 January transfer window target, according toĀ The Independent.
Soler has impressed over the past 12 months for Valencia and Jose Mourinho wants to add the 20-year-old to his squad in the New Year.
The Spain Under 21 international signed a new contract with Valencia in May , which raised his release clause to ā¬80 million, but United hope to agree a deal for around Ā£40m and could also include Andreas Pereira, who is currently on loan at the Mestalla, as part of any agreement.
ARSENAL WANT FELLAINI
Arsenal have thrown their hat into the ring of potential suitors for Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini, Calciomercato reports.
The Belgian, who is now in the final year of his contract at Old Trafford, has also been the subject of interest from Turkish side Besiktas.
MOYES WANTS DUNK AT WEST HAM
Manchester United are prepared to sell Luke Shaw for Ā£20 million during the January transfer window, claims The Times .
Shaw has been linked with a loan move to Fenerbahce, but is not interested in a transfer to Turkey as United look set to cut their losses on the left-back, who has been unable to make an impression under Jose Mourinho.
ARSENAL ABANDON LEMAR CHASE
Arsenal have abandoned plans to sign Monaco attacker Thomas Lemar and are already looking at alternatives, the Mirror reports.
The Gunners had a deadline day bid of Ā£90 million turned down for the Ligue 1 star, but interest in the 22-year-old is rising ā with Liverpool and Barcelona also interested ā pricing the Emirates side out of a deal.
SELL WILLIAN, BUY LUCAS MOURA
Chelsea will look to sell Willian in January as they target a winter move for Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura, le10sport claims.
The report suggests the Blues attacker would entertain the idea of a move to China, opening up the possibility of Lucas ā who represents a cheaper wage outlay ā taking his spot in the squad at Stamford Bridge.
RONALDO WANTS REAL EXIT
Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave Real Madrid, according to a bombshell report from Chiringuito TV in Spain.
The Portugal international has undergone a dip in form in recent months, scoring just one La Liga goal so far this season.
And Ronaldo is now reportedly ready to leave by June 30, having rejected a new contract at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The four-time Ballon d’Or winner’s request to depart was rejected by Real president Florentino Perez, only worsening their relationship.
ATLETICO MAKE OZIL CONTACT
Atletico Madrid have contacted Arsenal attacker Mesut Ozil over a possible summer move, according to The Sun .
The Germany international will be out of contract at the end of the season, allowing him to potentially sign a pre-contract with a new club in January. Atletico are willing to offer Ozil a salary of Ā£200,000-a-week and a significant signing-on fee, though that falls short of theĀ Ā£330,000-a-week number his representatives have requested from Arsenal.
Ozil could be tempted by a return to Madrid, however, after enjoying success at Santiago Bernabeu from 2010 to 2013.
TOTTENHAM TURN TO RICHARLISON
Tottenham are considering a move for Watford forward Richarlison, according to theĀ Daily Mirror .
The 20-year-old has impressed for the Hornets since arriving in the summer, and Spurs are now monitoring his progress as they look to bolster their attacking options.

Arsenal are closing in on a Ā£60 million move for Lyon forward Nabil Fekir, according to theĀ Daily Star .

That would pave the way for both Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez to leave before their contracts run down in the summer.
MAN UTD WANT ATLETICO STAR
Manchester United want to sign Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez, who has a ā¬150 million release clause in his contract, claims The Sun .
Jose Mourinho is looking to increase the creative options in his squad and fancies adding Saul to his ranks next summer.
Mourinho will also fend off Atleticoās interest in Ander Herrera, with United to trigger the 12-month option in the Spain midfielderās contract.
WEST HAM TARGET LIVERPOOL STRIKER
New West Ham United boss David Moyes is lining up a January loan deal for Liverpool striker Danny Ings, according to The Sun .

Ings is working his way back to full fitness after a serious injury and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is willing to let the forward go out on loan in the New Year.
NAPOLI BACK IN FOR BARCA ATTACKER
Napoli are ready to make a fresh move to sign Barcelona forward Denis Suarez when the transfer window reopens in January, reports Corriere dello Sport .
Suarez has struggled for regular first-team football this season and, having been a long-term target for Napoli, the Serie A side will try to finally sign the 23-year-old.
LIVERPOOL LINE UP WORLD CUP WINNER
Liverpool want to beat Arsenal and Tottenham to the signing of England Under 17 World Cup winner Morgan Gibbs-White, claims The Sun .
The midfielder has come through the ranks at Wolves and has already made his first-team debut, with Liverpool willing to pay Ā£5 million for the 17-year-old.
MADRID TO SELL BALE
Real Madrid have decided to sell Gareth Bale next summer after losing patience with the Wales internationalās fitness issues, according toĀ AS .
Bale is facing a further month on the sidelines due to a groin injury and he has not featured for Madrid since September, prompting the club to cut their losses on their record signing.
Manchester United had been interested in signing Bale over the summer for a fee upwards of ā¬120 million, but Madrid feel the 28-year-old will now only command a maximum price of ā¬80m.
If Bale is sold, Madrid will try to sign a new Galactico, with their sights set on Kylian Mbappe, who is currently on a season-long loan at Paris Saint-Germain.
MAN UTD ON LINCOLN TRAIL
Manchester United have joined the race to sign Brazilian striking sensation Lincoln, claims Calcio Mercato .
Lincoln impressed at the recent Under-17 World Cup in India, and is already a target for Barcelona and Real Madrid.
United and Juventus are also monitoring the 17-year-old, although his club Flamengo will not sell for less than ā¬30 million.
TORRES WANTS PREMIER LEAGUE RETURN
Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres wants to return to the Premier League on loan in the January transfer window, reports the Mirror .

Manchester United are set to face competition from the likes of Real Madrid for Tottenham defender Danny Rose, claims theĀ Daily Mail .
Reports had previously suggested that Rose would prefer a move to Old Trafford after also being linked with a switch to Chelsea.
However, with the 27-year-old previously commenting he has āone big contract left in meā, the left-back is now being tracked by Madrid, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.
DORTMUND JOIN CAN CHASE
Borussia Dortmund have joined the race to sign Liverpool midfielder Emre Can on a free transfer, reports Bild .

REAL OFFER BALE & KROOS FOR NEYMAR
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is determined to sign Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain and will offer Toni Kroos and Gareth Bale as part of a swap deal, Don Balon reports.
The report states that any deal to land the Brazilian will exceed ā¬400 million, and the Los Blancos supremo feels he can replace Kroos and Bale with relative ease as he looks to minimise costs.
At present, PSG are in no mood to sell, but Madrid will not give up their pursuit of Neymar and are hopeful they can bring him to the Santiago Bernabeu within the next two seasons.
