PARIS 2024: SUPER FALCONS TO FACE CANADA IN BEHIND-CLOSED-DOORS FRIENDLY
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Monday announced that the pre-Olympics friendly between the Super Falcons and Canada will be played behind closed doors.
The encounter will be the Super Falcons only test game before the 2024 Olympic Games.
The NFF made the announcement on its X platform.
“Our Super Falcons will be taking on reigning Olympic champions Canada in a closed-door friendly on 17 July as a final test before flying to France for the Olympics!”
The two teams battled to a 0-0 draw in their last meeting at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Canada defeated Australia 2-1 in a friendly last weekend.
The Super Falcons will fly to Paris for the Olympics on Thursday.
