PARIS 2024: D’TIGRESS COACH UPBEAT OF POSITIVE OLYMPICS OUTING
D’Tigress head coach, Rena Wakama has expressed confidence in her team’s ability to make a positive impact at the 2024 Olympic Games.
The Nigerian girls are currently preparing for the games in Germany.
Wakama said the players have been responding well to training.
“Things have been going well in the camp in the last few days, as we have had great practice sessions and the girls are in great spirits,” she told the NBBF media.
“The girls are responding well to training and getting better, every day. And that’s what matters.
“I’m confident that the girls will be able to display their talents when we get to Paris. I’m excited and looking forward to the games.”
D’Tigress would take on Germany, Serbia and France in friendlies before the commencement of the games.
