
TIGER WOODS DISMISSES RETIREMENT PLAN RUMOURS
American professional golfer, Tiger Woods, has said that contrary to an insinuations, he is not considering retirement soon in his golfing career.
The fifteen-time majors champion stated during a press conference at Royal Troon in Scotland on Tuesday, July 16, dismissing claims by Colin Montgomerie that his dreams of winning another title are unrealistic.
Montgomerie, the legendary Scottish golfer and former world No.2 had during an interview commented that Woods was no longer a realistic candidate to win a major, even suggesting that the 48-year-old should consider retirement.

But Woods, who is preparing to make his 23rd appearance at the British Open billed to tee off on Thursday, July 18, did not take that suggestion well.
“I’ll play as long as I can play and I feel like I can still win the event,” Woods was quoted as saying by The Times.
The British Open is one of the most storied and illustrious competitions in the world of golf with 158 players in contention.
