JUST IN: GOV. BALA TERMINATES APPOINTMENT OF HIS SECURITY ADVISER
Ahmed Adamu Chiroma, the governor of Bauchi State, has been fired by Bala Mohammed, the governor of the state, effective immediately.
A letter sent by the Secretary to Ibrahim Mohammed Kashim, the State Government, informed Chiroma of his loss of employment and instructed him to turn over his responsibilities to the governor’s Chief Security Officer.
Mukhtar Gidado, the governor’s special adviser on media and publicity, informed the public of the news in a statement.
He stated: “Governor Bala Mohammed, on behalf of the government and the people of Bauchi State, thanks the former Chief Security Adviser for his services to the state. The general public is hereby informed of this development.”
