#EdoDecides2024: OSHIOMHOLE, SHAIBU DELIVER AS APC WINS ETSAKO WEST LGA
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of Etsako West local government area of Edo State where the Senator representing Edo Central, Adam Oshiomhole and embattled deputy governor, Philip Shaibu hail from.
This was announced at the ongoing collation of results led by the Returning Officer, Professor Faruq Adamu Kuta, the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna.
According to the collation officer for the local govt, Monday Okpebholo of the APC polled 32,107 votes to defeat his closest rival and candidate of the PDP, Asue Ighodalo, who scored 17,483 votes.
