WHY I QUIT FOOTBALL TO PURSUE MUSIC- DARKOO
Darkoo, a British-Nigerian rapper and singer, has talked candidly about her unplanned transition from athletics to music.
The “Favourite Girl” actress recently disclosed in a podcast that she used to want to play football but gave up after experiencing a health issue during a game.
“Music was never the plan. I wanted to be a footballer,” she shared. “A lot of people have not seen me on the pitch because I don’t play football anymore. The last time I played, I fainted because it was a lot of exercise.”
Since switching to music, Darkoo has become one of the industry’s most prominent rising stars.

WE HAVE NO PLANS TO ARREST UTOMI OR SHADOW GOVT PROMOTERS- DSS
By Jen Nomamiukor Akinlolu Kehinde (SAN), the main attorney for the Department of State Services (DSS), has stated that the agency has no intention of making any arrests in connection with the shadow government that is being suggested by a group headed by Patrick Utomi, the African Democratic Congress's (ADC) 2007 presidential candidate. “Our client is not interested in arresting anybody on this matter, having on its own accord submitted itself to the jurisdiction of the honorable court to interpret the Constitution and determine the legality or otherwise of the ‘shadow government’ or any other nomenclature that it may be so named,” Kehinde told journalists Wednesday, shortly after filing a fresh application before the Federal High Court in Abuja for an interlocutory injunction preventing Utomi from making any more public comments or attending rallies related to a suit pending against him over his announced plan to establish a shadow government in the nation. As you are aware, the State Security Service (SSS) brought the civil complaint against the nation's democratically elected government in accordance with its legislative responsibility to maintain internal peace and prevent treasonous crimes and insurrections. As the SSS's legal representatives, we recently submitted a request for an interlocutory order against the defendant and his organization while the substantive suit is being decided.
