WIZKID’S LATEST SINGLE “DANCE” DISAPPEARS FROM APPLE MUSIC TOP 100
“Kese (Dance),” Wizkid’s hit song, is no longer listed in Apple Music’s Top 100.
Dance, which was made available on streaming services on November 15, 2024, shot to the top of the Apple Music Nigeria Top 100 within hours of its release.
“Dance” has the largest opening for an African song on Spotify worldwide, with 2.753 million plays.
Many have suggested that Apple Music’s stringent restrictions against streaming manipulation may have been the catalyst for the abrupt disappearance, which has prompted a huge debate about why it was taken down.
The development may indicate that the song’s streams will be subtracted prior to its reintroduction into the chart.
