COURT EXONERATES NAIRA MARLEY, SAM LARRY, PRIMEBOY OVER MOHBAD’S DEATH
On Tuesday at the Magistrate Court in Sabo, Yaba, Lagos, Abdulazeez Fashola—better known as Naira Marley—was acquitted in connection with the death of Aloba Oladimeji lleriOluwa, also known as Mohbad.
Magistrate Ejiro Kubenje, after presenting the legal advice from the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) Lagos, stated that there was no case to answer.
Additionally, the court released music promoter Samson Balogun Eletu (Sam Larry), Owodunni Ibrahim (Primeboy), and Mohbad’s former manager, Opere Babatunde.
However, the DPP announced that it would prosecute Feyisayo Ogedengbe, the auxiliary nurse who treated Mohbad, along with Mohbad’s friend, Ayobami Sadiq, for reckless and negligent acts under Section 251 (e) of the Criminal Law, Ch C.17, Vol.3, Lagos State Laws of 2015.
Both individuals are set to face trial at the Magistrate Court.
