COURT ADJOURNS NATASHA’S LAWSUIT AGAINST SENATE PROBE TO MARCH 25
On Monday, the Federal High Court in Abuja postponed until March 25, 2025, the complaint brought by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central Senatorial District.
The respondents notified the court that they had not received the required documents, and the adjournment came after their submission.
A request for an order prohibiting the Senate Committee on Ethics and Privileges from looking into Akpoti-Uduaghan was made to the Federal High Court.
On March 5, 2025, trial judge Justice Obiora Egwuatu issued a verdict on the application, prohibiting the committee from carrying out the investigation.
