MASSIVE SUPPORT, TRIBUTES POUR IN FOR MAYORESS SAMIAT BADA FOLLOWING APC PRIMARY VICTORY IN IKOSI-ISHERI

Widespread commendations have continued to trail the emergence of Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada as the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer for the Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in the upcoming local government elections in Lagos State.

From political stakeholders to community leaders, civil society groups, and residents, the victory of the incumbent Mayoress at the just-concluded APC primaries has been met with overwhelming approval and celebratory messages, acknowledging her developmental strides and people-centered governance.

In a statement from the office of the CDC Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, Chief Adekoya Adesina congratulated the Mayoress for “crossing the first bridge on the journey to a well-deserved comeback.” He assured her of the unwavering support of the residents across all communities who have benefitted from her many impactful projects.

Similarly, the Grand Chief Imam of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, Sheikh Ismail Oluwatoyin Balogun, alongside the League of Chief Imams and Alfas, expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for her emergence and prayed for divine wisdom and strength as she continues her leadership journey.

In a heartfelt message, Comrade Alimi Kabiru Oluwatobi, Chairman of NULGE Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, described the victory as a reflection of the people’s enduring trust in the Mayoress. He praised her as “a trailblazer whose footprints of progress and compassion are visible in every corner of the LCDA.”

The Council’s media team also joined in the celebration, hailing her as a leader who “earned her spot not by noise, but by work,” and reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to supporting her reelection bid.

Former Deputy Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Tola Banjo, called Bada’s victory “a well-deserved recognition of her grassroots impact,” urging all stakeholders to unite behind her as the party heads toward the general elections.

Congratulatory messages also came from youth leaders, CDA executives, and artisans. Comrade Ayole L.O. (Rokana) lauded her transformational leadership and described her primary win as “a testament to the trust and confidence of party members and leaders.”

Yinka Adebayo, Chairman of the Agiliti Phase 2 CDA, praised the Mayoress for her inclusive leadership and prayed for success in the coming LG elections. Similarly, the leadership of LASCOTA Ikosi-Isheri Trade and Artisan Association extended their congratulations, reaffirming their support.

In another tribute, community member Olaniyan Bukola described Bada’s leadership as “exceptional,” stating, “Your appointment as Chairman is well-deserved, and we are thrilled to see you take on this challenge. Wishing you all the best in your endeavor.”

As the APC candidate for the LCDA, Princess Samiat Bada’s candidacy continues to garner grassroots support, setting the stage for what many believe will be a seamless return to office, powered by her solid track record and unwavering commitment to her community.
