ANNIE MACAULAY CLARIFIES MARITAL STATUS, SAYS SHE IS NOT A SINGLE MOTHER

Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay has stated that she is not a single mother, despite her separation from her estranged husband, singer 2Face Idibia.
The actress clarified that she sees herself as a single woman raising two children, rather than a single mother. On her Instagram, she wrote: “I’m not a single mom. I’m a single woman raising two kids.”
The media recalls that singer 2Face Idibia announced on Instagram in late January 2025 that he was separating from his wife, Annie Macaulay, and initiating divorce proceedings.
He stated that the marriage had not been working for a long time.
Weeks later, he unveiled Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawuru as his new lover.
Following 2Face’s announcement, Annie removed his surname from her social media handles but later reverted to it.
The couple got married in 2012 and had two children together. They faced intense public scrutiny and personal challenges throughout their 13-year relationship.
Annie is currently responsible for the custody of their two daughters, Isabella and Olivia Idibia.
