DAVIDO CONFIRMS JOINT PROJECT WITH CHRIS BROWN

Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido has confirmed a joint project with American R&B singer Chris Brown, set for release next year.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Swift Conversations podcast, Davido said he is currently focusing on creating more Africa-inspired music, while still remaining open to collaborations with American artists.
He added that his upcoming project features several of his original producers from home, as he continues to lean into a more African sound.
However, he noted that as an American, collaborations are still part of his plans, adding, “Me and Chris Brown have an album coming next year.”
Davido and Chris Brown first worked together on the 2019 hit song Blow My Mind and have since collaborated on about five tracks.
The pair have been hinting at a joint project for some time, with Davido first suggesting it in 2023.
He also revealed that they have several unreleased songs recorded together.
