FSARS INSPECTOR WHO KILLED LASTMA OFFICIAL IS DEAD
The Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) inspector, Prince Oki Joseph who rudely shot a LASTMA official identified as Adeyemo Rotimi on Wednesday has been confirmed dead on arrival at the hospital.
The death of the FSARS inspector was as a result of the beaten given to him by the mob at the scene of the incident.
The news of his death was made known by the Police spokesman, Abayomi Sogunle on his tweeter handle.
He wrote: “The Inspector that allegedly shot dead late Rotimi Adeyemo ‘m’ at Iyana-Ipaja Roundabout, Lagos at 6 pm of 28.11.2018 was beaten to stupor by an irate mob at the scene. This policeman also died while being rushed to the hospital,”
He noted that “The name of the policeman is withheld because his NOK (next of kin) is yet to be notified by NPF (Nigeria Police Force).”
The police spokesman also revealed that both corpses have been deposited at Mainland General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
