FUNKE BUCKNOR SHARES EMOTIONAL STORY OF HOW SHE HAS BEEN DEALING WITH THE DEATH OF HER SISTER, TOSIN

Funke Bucknor, an elder sister to the late radio presenter, Tosin Bucknor has shared an emotional note on how she has been dealing with the death of her sister after two months.
The CEO of an event planning company took to her Instagram page to share the story;
āYou know how sometimes people say that a sermon or music was just for them when they went to church?
āThat happened to me today with a song by our choir ( the sounds of heaven and the psalmist ) at @myjoshuaville
Ever since my sister died I hadnāt been able to go to church. Yes, I attended meetings etc but I just couldnāt or didnāt see myself being in a service.
āI was angry and hurt and just still couldnāt understand why she had to die or why this happened to my family. I generally donāt like dealing with emotions and I tend to just push them aside or away. I did this when my dad died as I didnāt cry till Tosynās death.
āWith Tosyn the emotions are totally different and I wanted to lash out at God. Infact Iāve had many conversations with Him on why He let it happen. Those answers havenāt come oh but the song about trusting Him in church today really helped and will help towards the healing process.
āThis is for anyone going through any form of grief ( you lost a friend, sibling, parent or child or relation). Itās ok to be angry
Itās ok to be hurt
Itās ok to be in denial
Itās ok to be upset
Itās ok to feel guilty
Itās ok to feel pain
Itās ok ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦..
But donāt stop trusting in God
But donāt stop talking about your pain
But donāt stop living ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦..
We will get healing
We will still feel the pain but it gets numb with time
We will still talk about what we miss about them.
We will be ok ā¦ā¦..
