AFCON2019: WE’RE READY TO UNLEASH OUR BEST AGAINST CAMEROUN – GERNOT ROHR
Joseph Omoniyi
As the Super Eagles of Nigeria prepare to clash with the Indomitable Lions in the second round of the African Cup of Nations 2019, Coach Gernot Rohr has vowed to unleash his best legs against the Cameroonian team.

Gernot Rohr who boasted that he will field his best players in the Saturday game in Alexandria, Egypt, revealed he changed the team against Madagascar to keep some of the players in shape.
He however promised that the disappointment of the match has been put behind and the boys are ready to take up the Camerounian challenge who are also expected to bring on their A-game during the face-off.
“Everybody wants to do well especially after this disappointment against Madagascar,” Rohr told the media.
“It is true that we changed the team, we wanted to play some other players to keep them in the rhythm of the competition but now, the best team has to start to do the best and to make Nigeria proud.
“The real tournament is starting for us now. We have seen the fixtures and all the games are difficult for everybody, even for Egypt. Of course, for us, it is a very good team of Cameroon. They had six points, we had five. They scored two goals also.
“I think it will be a very tough game, but there’s a small difference between both sides and so we have to prepare very well.”
