Croatia have confirmed that they will have spies in the stands over
the next week when Nigeria play in two international friendlies in
Europe.
The Super Eagles are preparing for the 2018 World Cup by playing
matches against Poland in Wroclaw on Friday and Serbia in London next
week Tuesday.
Croatia head coach Zlatko Dalić has confirmed that his scouts will
attend all the matches involving their Group D opponents – Nigeria,
Argentina and Iceland – at the World Cup this month.
“Yes, Ladić goes to America. I needed a man who would monitor
Iceland’s game, Ivica Olić would probably look at the other game,”
Dalic told Sportske Novosti.
“At the same time Nikola Jerkan will follow Argentina playing with
Italy and Spain, while Ognjen Vukojević will watch Nigerians against
Poland and Serbia.
“We will collect all relevant information about the rivals from the group.”
Croatia and Nigeria will meet in their Group D opener on June 16 in Kaliningrad.
