WHY ‘BIKE-HAILING’ SERVICE WILL SURELY CRUMBLE IN LAGOS – JOE IGBOKWE
The spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress, APC Lagos Chapter, Joe Igbokwe has suggested that the Lagos State Government might make life difficult for bike hailing service operating in the area.
Igbokwe made this known via his social media page said the business is not sustainable in the state despite the fact that the business owners investing 5.3 million dollars.
He wrote;
‘Instead of partnering with govt on BRT, you invested “5.3 million dollars” in okada business and expect that Lagos state will allow you jeopardise its muliti-billion naira mass transit investments.
Call it ‘bike-hailing start up’ or whatever, okada na okada… it is not sustainable in a city of high density population Lagos.’
