The body of late ex-President Muhammadu Buhari was laid to rest at exactly 5:50pm on Tuesday, in his country home, Daura, Katsina State.
Proceedings were led by the Chief Imam of Daura, with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu leading several dignitaries present at the event.
The Nigerian Flag used to drape late ex-President Buhari was folded and handed over to his only son; Yusuf, by the military personnel.
Earlier, a 21-gun salute was observed in honour of the late President who died on Sunday, July 15, at The Clinic, in Londo, United Kingdom.
