INFLUENCER LOLA DOLL BATTLES FOR LIFE AFTER BEING SHOT IN GUYANA

Popular social media influencer Lola Doll is battling for her life after being shot multiple times outside her Georgetown home late Saturday night.

The Guyana Police Force confirmed the incident in a statement on Sunday, identifying the victim as 33-year-old Lolita Callender, who was attacked at about 11:35 p.m. in front of her residence at Texas Square, East Ruimveldt.

“She is presently receiving medical attention at the Georgetown Public Hospital, where she remains in critical condition, having sustained gunshot wounds to her neck, face, hands, and right leg,” the police statement said.

According to investigators, Callender was seated in her car when a gunman on a motorcycle opened fire. “Preliminary information indicates that the victim was seated in her motor car when she was shot by a male on a motorcycle,” the GPF noted.

Authorities said CCTV footage from the area is being reviewed as part of efforts to track down the assailant.

“The Guyana Police Force is urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to come forward. Persons can also share information anonymously by calling 911 or the nearest police station,” the statement added.

The investigation is ongoing.
