Falconets Head Coach Moses Aduku Unveils 26-Player Squad as Nigeria Intensify Preparations for FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Third-Round Clash With Senegal.

The squad, anchored by Nigeria Women Football League stars such as Bayelsa Queens forward Janet Akekoromowei and Nasarawa Amazons midfielder Joy Igbokwe, also includes several players elevated from the national U-17 side, notably Shakirat Abidemi Moshood.

CAF Grants NFF Request to Shift Falconets’ First-Leg Tie to Abeokuta; Nigeria Set to Host Senegal on February 7, With Return Fixture in Thiès on February 14. The move to the MKO Abiola Sports Complex from Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan came after CAF approved the Nigeria Football Federation’s appeal over concerns about the playing surface. Nigeria, twice crowned FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup silver medalists  progressed to this stage with a 5-0 aggregate win over Rwanda and have since relocated to Abeokuta, where they also notched a 2-1 friendly victory over FC Robo Queens as part of their tune-up for Senegal.
