AMBULANCE HITS PERSON DURING ACCESS BANK LAGOS CITY MARATHON

A video circulating online captured the moment an ambulance struck an individual during the 11th edition of the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon on Saturday.
The clip, shared on X by a user identified as #Mrolaoluwa, showed runners moving along a city road when the ambulance approached from behind and appeared to hit someone along the route. The poster wrote, “I hope that guy that ambulance just hit at the Lagos City Marathon now, is safe.”
Authorities had not issued an official statement as of the time of reporting. The identity and condition of the person struck were unknown, and it was unclear whether the individual was a race participant or a bystander.
The marathon commenced earlier in the day, with athletes and recreational runners participating along major routes across Lagos.
