FEDERAL ROAD SAFETY CORPS VERIFIES TWO FEMALE DEATHS IN ABA AUTO ACCIDENT

Two women have been officially confirmed dead following a road crash on Thursday at the Osisioma axis of the Enugu–Aba–Port Harcourt Expressway.
The accident involved a mini-bus carrying goods, which rammed into a stationary trailer parked along the expressway.
One of the women died instantly from the impact, while the second female victim passed away before she could be rushed to the hospital.
The Abia State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Ngozi Ezeoma, confirmed the incident to the media. According to her, three persons — one man and two women — were involved in the crash, but the two female occupants lost their lives.

Meanwhile, a transporter who operates along the route, Okechukwu Agbazuo, alleged that the white-and-blue mini-bus was speeding before the driver lost control and collided with the parked trailer.
