The Nigerian Presidency has dismissed reports suggesting that a staff member from the Aso Rock Villa kitchen was arrested or tried to poison President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, released a statement labeling the rumors as false:
“No Aso Rock kitchen staff has been arrested. No Aso Rock kitchen staff attempted to poison President Tinubu. Please disregard this fake news circulating via this video.”
