AISHA YESUFU PREDICTS CONFRONTATION IN 2027

Human rights activist Aisha Yesufu has described the upcoming 2027 general elections as a battle for the nation’s future.
Yesufu made the remarks on Thursday during a live interview with the media.
The co-convener of the BringBackOurGirls Movement stated that the 2027 polls represent a struggle for the soul of Nigeria, warning that it will not be “business as usual.”

“As we approach 2027, let me be clear—it’s a war we are entering. Yes, a war; we are fighting for our lives. There’s a bed in the psychiatric hospital for everyone who wants to demonstrate madness,” she said.
“We cannot sit back while some believe they hold a monopoly on authority or recklessness. The APC has yet to prove it has the credibility to act responsibly, consistently displaying behavior that reflects arbitrariness and impunity.
“Certainly, challenges will arise, but we are confident that Nigerians are growing weary of the status quo,” Yesufu added.
