Tolu Bankole, a member of the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has stated that opposition parties in Nigeria are not adequately prepared for the 2027 general elections.

He noted, “The ruling party has already outperformed its rivals through effective governance and strategic political initiatives across the country.”

Bankole, who serves as the APC National Leader for Persons with Disabilities, made the comments in a statement issued in Abuja on Monday. He commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, saying the ruling party continues to gain momentum ahead of its competitors as the next election cycle approaches.

He observed that opposition parties are currently mired in internal conflicts and lack the cohesion and policy alternatives necessary to mount an effective challenge against the ruling party in the upcoming elections.

Bankole emphasized that the situation is clear and well-documented, stating, “The opposition is not merely struggling; it is in complete disarray, facing an existential crisis, and remains woefully unprepared, deeply divided, and intellectually bankrupt as we approach the 2027 general elections.”

He added that the APC, under President Tinubu’s leadership, has outperformed its rivals both politically and in governance.

The APC chieftain further highlighted that the administration is stabilizing the economy, attracting investment, improving infrastructure, and tackling security challenges nationwide.

Bankole concluded that under what he described as President Tinubu’s visionary, decisive, and transformative leadership, the APC has not only outmaneuvered the opposition but has overwhelmingly defeated them on every front.
