NIGERIAN ARMY OPENS APPLICATION FOR 91ST REGULAR RECRUITS INTAKE

The Nigerian Army has announced the commencement of applications for its 91st Regular Recruits Intake (91RRI) for tradesmen/women and non-tradesmen/women.

In a public notice shared via its official X handle on Sunday, the Army disclosed that free online registration will begin on March 30, 2026, and close on May 17, 2026.

According to the announcement, interested applicants are required to submit their applications through the Army’s official recruitment portal.

The recruitment exercise, which follows the successful completion of the 90RRI in 2025, is aimed at enlisting qualified individuals to strengthen the force.

Applicants are expected to possess valid means of identification, including the National Identification Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN), as part of measures to ensure transparency and prevent fraud.

The Army also emphasised that candidates must meet the required educational qualifications, particularly a Secondary School Certificate Examination or its equivalent.

It reiterated that the registration process is completely free and warned prospective applicants to beware of fraudsters demanding payment for forms or offering assistance.
