She noted that the governor made the statement during a stakeholders’ meeting held on Sunday at the Banquet Hall of the Government House in Dutse.
The governor stressed that leadership must remain focused on the people, urging appointees to show compassion, responsiveness, and a strong commitment to improving citizens’ lives at every level.
He reaffirmed that his administration is anchored on mutual support, calling on officials to stay connected to the grassroots and respond effectively to their needs.
Namadi added that genuine leadership is demonstrated through service, empathy, and dedication to the welfare of the people.
His remarks come amid rising public complaints about some political office holders, who have been accused of failing to support those they serve despite the benefits they receive.
He pointed out that some appointees claim they have little or nothing to offer, regardless of their earnings.
“Anyone who believes they have nothing to contribute to the public should step down,” the governor said.
