FIVE KIDNAPPED ABUJA SISTERS REGAIN FREEDOM (VIDEO)
According to reports, Five of the six sisters of the Al-Kadriyar family, who were abducted by bandits in the Bwari neighborhood of Abuja lately, have regained freedom on Saturday night.
Our correspondent was unable to independently confirm at the time of filing this report, whether the girls were freed after their family paid a ransom or whether security personnel rescued them.
However, an uncle to the girls, Kabiru Aminu, who broke the news of their release, shared a video on his X handle @kabiru_aminu, showing the sisters and their relatives rejoicing.
“#Najeebahandhersisters are home right now, someone please wake me up!” he tweeted.
Also reacting to their release, an X user, Adamu_Asiya_, who identified herself as a cousin to the kidnapped sisters and had announced the kidnap, also confirmed the release of the five sisters.
She wrote on X, “Day 19: Alhamdulillah. #Najeebahandhersisters are back home. They got released last night. Thank y’all for your efforts and prayers🙏🏾.
“Don’t forget Nabeeha and Uncle Abdulfattah in your prayers. May Allah forgive their shortcomings and grant them Aljannatul Firdaus.”
On January 9, Najeebah and her sisters were abducted, alongside their father.
Nabeeha, the oldest of the six girls, was allegedly killed by the hoodlums, who then disposed her body somewhere for her parents to bury.
