NEC MEETING: SIGNIFICANT SECURITY DEPLOYMENT AT PDP HEADQUARTERS IN ABUJA

An atypical deployment of armed law enforcement officers is observed at Wadata Plaza, the central office of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja, as anxiety escalates regarding the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) Meeting scheduled for today.

A representative of the party, who conversed with the media, indicated that law enforcement was dispatched to prevent the anticipated NEC Expanded Caucus Meeting. Nevertheless, certain personnel of the party were permitted to enter the premises of the secretariat without any opposition from the police. Nonetheless, specific members of the organization were allowed to access the premises of the secretariat without any resistance from the police.

The policemen were seen cordoning off Dalaba Street, which is the road leading to Wadata Plaza.
