The Lagos State Police Command has validated that renowned TikTok personality, Habeeb Hamzat, commonly referred to as Peller, is secure despite the claims of his purported abduction during a livestream on Wednesday evening.
The command’s representative, Benjamin Hundeyin, during an interview on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief on Thursday, stated that initial investigations indicated that the content creator was at home and unharmed.
“We are probing the allegation, but we can affirm that the individual in question, Habeeb, commonly known as Peller, is at home safe and sound.
“His vehicle remains undamaged, and all his phones and belongings are accounted for; nothing is missing,” Hundeyin remarked. He elaborated that the police are still examining the incident to determine whether it constitutes a kidnapping, a fabricated abduction, or a false alarm.

“That is what we are examining. All his possessions were in order, and there was no indication of violence whatsoever,” the police spokesperson reiterated.
The 20-year-old was reported to have been taken away by armed individuals while en route home during a TikTok livestream. In widely circulated footage, he seemed to confuse the men for law enforcement officials before being removed.
The social media sensation, who gained prominence in 2021 through his short-form TikTok videos, has since broadened his brand to include the livestreaming of shows and events.
