President Bola Tinubu has called on Nigerians to remain committed and supportive of ongoing reforms, stressing that genuine national transformation requires sacrifices from all citizens.
In his Easter message delivered to Nigerians both at home and abroad on Friday, Tinubu reflected on the season’s spiritual significance, emphasizing resilience, sacrifice, and overcoming adversity as principles relevant not only to faith but also to nation-building.
“The ongoing reforms, while challenging in their immediate effects, have been carefully planned and are underpinned by a strong commitment to achieving shared prosperity.
“As I have consistently stated, true transformation cannot be realized without sacrifice, and history shows that lasting progress is often born from moments like these,” he added.
Acknowledging the persistent security and economic challenges facing the country, the president praised the gallant efforts of the Armed Forces in confronting terrorists and bandits, while assuring that his administration continues to provide resources and forge foreign partnerships to deliver decisive action.

Tinubu also called on Nigerians to uphold unity, civic responsibility, and peaceful participation, particularly as the nation approaches another electoral cycle.
He emphasised that democracy thrives when citizens exercise responsibility, restraint, and informed participation.
“Easter reminds us that, despite current challenges affecting many, economic indicators reflect that we are on the right path. A new dawn is approaching,” Tinubu stated.
The president concluded by expressing gratitude to Nigerians for their trust and support, urging them to keep contributing to the nation’s development for a more prosperous, secure, and democratic Nigeria.
