Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the military campaign against Iran would continue, vowing to intensify strikes to weaken what he described as a “terrorist regime.” Speaking in Tel Aviv, he claimed Israel had targeted key infrastructure, including bridges, and significantly reduced Iran’s steel production capacity, which he said supports military activities.
Netanyahu added that Israel is working in close coordination with U.S. President Donald Trump and maintained that operations would persist until their objectives are achieved. He also defended strikes on Hezbollah positions in Lebanon, saying they were necessary to expand and secure Israel’s northern buffer zone.
In contrast, Iran’s Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, criticised the United States, mocking its claims of weakening Iran’s leadership. Reacting to reports of a downed U.S. fighter jet, he said Washington’s strategy had shifted from pursuing regime change to searching for missing pilots.
