FORMER SUPER EAGLES STRIKER MICHAEL ENERAMO DIES AFTER COLLAPSING DURING MATCH IN KADUNA

Former Super Eagles striker Michael Eneramo has died after reportedly collapsing during a football match in Kaduna State.
According to reports, the 40-year-old slumped while playing at the Angwan Yelwa pitch in the Television area of Kaduna on Friday.
Eyewitnesses said Eneramo, who came on as a substitute in the second half, collapsed suddenly without any contact from other players. Efforts to revive him at the scene were unsuccessful, and he was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
Eneramo, who had retired from professional football, enjoyed a notable career, featuring for clubs such as Beşiktaş J.K., Espérance Sportive de Tunis, and Lobi Stars F.C..
Before his death, he was reportedly running a football academy, contributing to the development of young talents.
The Nigeria national football team paid tribute to the late striker, posting his image on its official social media platform with the message: “Rest in peace Michael.”
His sudden death has sent shockwaves through the Nigerian football community.
