PDP: SARAKI, TAMBUWAL AND KWANKWANSO GET AUTOMATIC TICKETS

Following the victory of Atiku Abubakarat the recently concluded Peoples Democratic Party convention, the PDP has handed automatic tickets to Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, Senate President Bukola Saraki and Senator Rabiu Kwankwanso.
According to Vanguard, the three men have been gifted tickets for the Sokoto governorship, Kwara Central and Kano Central Senatorial positions respectively.
The tickets were given to them, after the names previously listed for the above positions were dropped.
Atiku Abubakar emerged winner of the primary conducted in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital.
In a related development, Atiku Abubakar who is now the flag bearer of the PDP has received a congratulatory message from Senate president Bukola Saraki.
The senate president thanked governor Okowa for organizing and planning the PDP Presidential Primary and Convention event through his twitter handle.
He tweeted: “Today is a great day for our party, @OfficialPDPNig, because it has shown what men and women of our party can do. Today has shown that the interest of our party and the Nigerian people is more important than our individual interests. #PDPPresidentialPrimaries
I want to thank Governor Okowa for planning and organizing this transparent, free and fair Presidential Primary and Convention. #PDPPresidentialPrimaries
I congratulate our Presidential Candidate, Your Excellency, Alhaji @Atiku Abubakar, for your victory. You have stayed on course over the years and truly, you deserve this victory. #PDPPresidentialPrimaries”
