PHOTOS: LASCOPA HOLDS 2026 LAGOS FOOD SAFETY CONFERENCE, SEEKS SOLUTIONS TO FOOD SAFETY CHALLENGES

The Lagos State Consumer Protection Agency (LASCOPA) is holding its 2026 Food Safety Conference and Exhibition in Ikeja, Lagos, with stakeholders from the food and consumer protection sectors gathered to deliberate on food safety challenges and possible solutions.
The conference, themed “From Burden to Solutions – Safe Food Everywhere,” is taking place at NECA House, Alausa, Ikeja, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

Focused on strengthening conversations around food safety and promoting measures that will ensure safer food for consumers across Lagos State, the event also features an exhibition component, bringing together relevant stakeholders to showcase products, practices and solutions aimed at improving food safety.

The gathering is expected to provide a platform for experts, government representatives, food businesses and other stakeholders to exchange ideas and discuss practical approaches to addressing food safety concerns.
