Music entrepreneur Don Jazzy offered well-known Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan, also known as VDM, a sum of money he had never received in his life, and he was unable to keep it to himself.
This comes after Don Jazzy, the head of Mavin Records, gave N100 million to the activist organization VeryDarkMan in order to promote VDM’s main goal of helping public elementary school students who have little access to high-quality education.
Recall that Intel Region previously revealed that activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) paid Don Jazzy a visit in Lagos to show his appreciation after stunning him with a N100 million gift to his non-profit? Image and video of the visit below:
The music mogul saw how VDM manages his activism work during his visit to Don Jazzy’s office, frequently taking care of pressing issues right away.
VDM recalled being with Don Jazzy when a woman called and asked for his quick attention on a matter.
Still by Don Jazzy’s side, he immediately called the cops to step in and stop it.
According to VDM, Don Jazzy was impressed by his work and asked for his personal account number rather than his NGO’s.
He then sent a sum of money that he had never received in his account before.
He emphasized that Don Jazzy would undoubtedly not approve of the way he disclosed this most recent development, but he is not the type of person who feels that others should be grateful for their thoughtful gestures toward him.
Sharing the video, VDM wrote, “@donjazzy will not like this post; however, I don’t care what he likes at this point… DON JAZZY GAVE ME A HUGE AMOUNT OF MONEY THAT HAS NEVER ENTERED MY ACCOUNT SINCE I WAS BORN. @donjazzy, no vex say I talk but this is who I am.”
