TINUBU ENDORSES LEGISLATION CREATING 3 HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION IN THE SOUTH EAST- AKPABIO

The President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has praised President Bola Tinubu for enacting the legislation for the creation of the Federal College of Education, Bende, Abia State, the Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Item Bende, Abia State, and the Federal University, Okigwe, Imo State.
Akpabio also commended the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, who backed two of the Bills, as well as other contributors in the Senate, including the Deputy Whip, Senator Onyekachi Nwebonyi, Deputy Minority Whip, Senator Osita Ngwu, and primary sponsor of one of the bills, Senator Patrick Ndubueze, for their outstanding leadership, efficient representation, and dedication to the welfare of their constituents.
In a declaration on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, the President of the Senate commended participants in both the House of Representatives and the Senate for their unwavering commitment and endorsement of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu administration.
The three entities aspire to deliver high-quality education, research opportunities, and address the educational requirements of the South East region while enhancing healthcare delivery to promote knowledge and improve health outcomes in the area.

Senator Akpabio articulated that the formation of the institutions would signify a crucial milestone in advancing education and progress in the South-East region.
Senator Akpabio stated, “I commend President Tinubu for his inclusive governance and evident dedication to the advancement of the South-East region and initiatives to mend the profound scars of history. ”
“The creation of these organizations will significantly contribute to alleviating the persistent sentiments of skepticism and socio-economic exclusion among the populace of the South-East. I applaud the President for his generosity and unwavering commitment to the region.
“The substantial backing of leaders and legislators in facilitating the enactment of these crucial bills that establish these organizations is remarkable and praiseworthy.

Akpabio assured that the continued support of the South-East for the Tinubu administration will attract more dividends of democracy to the region.
