QATAR AIRWAYS RESUMES FLIGHTS TO LAGOS

By: Muftau Fatimo
Qatar Airways has announced that it will operate a limited flight schedule to and from Doha following the temporary closure of Qatari airspace, which has disrupted regular operations. The airline said it is making every effort to assist affected passengers and help reunite them with family and loved ones. Operations will fully resume once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority confirms the safe reopening of the airspace.
Under temporary authorisation from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, the carrier will operate select flights in the coming days to support passengers affected by the disruption. However, these flights do not signify a full resumption of scheduled commercial operations.

Passengers can check the latest flight schedule and make bookings via the Qatar Airways website or mobile app, or through travel agents. Selected direct point-to-point flights have also been arranged, with eligible passengers contacted directly by the airline. Travelers are advised not to arrive at airports unless they hold confirmed tickets.

Qatar Airways emphasised that passenger and crew safety remains its top priority, apologising for disruptions caused by circumstances beyond its control and expressing gratitude for the patience of affected travelers.
