JABU offers scholarship to all students
The Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Ikeji Arakeji, Osun State, has offered partial scholarship to all the students of the institution.
The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Sola Fajana, disclosed this while addressing journalists recently at the main campus of the institution.
Fajana said that the institution came up with the scholarship policy in order to make university education in the institution attractive and also to encourage the students of religious studies.
Explaining the new policy further, the VC said all the students of the institution would benefit from a 10 per cent reduction in their fees.
Fajana said, “There will be 15 per cent school fees reduction for parents who have two students in our school and 20 per cent reduction for students who are members of the Christ Apostolic Church, while members of staff of the institution who are students will have their school fees reduced by 15 per cent.
“There will be 40 per cent discount for non-C.A.C students of Religious Studies, while pastors or wives of pastors studying Religious Studies will have 60 per cent discount of their school fees and C. A. C members studying Religious Studies will have 50 per cent discount of their fees. “
He said the management of the university was committed to making studying in the university conducive to all students.
