The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has unveiled the list of candidates who emerged victorious in its House of Representatives and Lagos State House of Assembly primaries ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The list, signed by Lagos APC Chairman Cornelius Ojelabi, shows that 24 candidates secured tickets for the House of Representatives, while 40 candidates emerged for the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Among those who won House of Representatives tickets are James Abiodun Faleke for Ikeja, Mudashiru Obasa for Agege, and Babajimi Benson for Ikorodu.
Other notable winners include Muftau Egberongbe (Apapa), Moses Olanrewaju (Amuwo-Odofin), Adeyemi Alli (Mushin I), Moses Oluwatosin Fayinka (Mushin II), and Fuad Laguda (Surulere I).
Lanre Okunnola emerged for Surulere II, Fuad Atanda-Lawal for Eti-Osa, Bello Monsuru Oloyede for Oshodi-Isolo II, and Kolade David Alabi for Somolu.
Also on the list are Benjamin Adeyemi Olabinjo (Ifako-Ijaiye), Bolaji Kayode Robert (Ojo), Paul Abioye Kalejaiye (Ajeromi-Ifelodun), Dolapo Badru (Lagos Island I), and Kayode Moshood Akiolu (Lagos Island II).
In Alimosho, Olabisi Adebanjo secured the party’s ticket, becoming the only female among the 24 House of Representatives candidates.
For the Lagos State House of Assembly, winners include Mojisola Meranda for Apapa I, Musibau Lawal for Apapa II, Barakat Bakare-Odunuga for Surulere I, and Damilola Ayinde-Marshall for Surulere II.
The primaries also produced winners across other constituencies, including Gbolahan Yishawu, Mayowa Alakija, Toyin Gafar, Moshood Aro, Adedamola Kasumu, and Adeseyi Lawal.

The release of the candidates’ list comes as political activities intensify within the Lagos chapter of the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 elections.
In recent weeks, the party leadership has consistently assured aspirants of a transparent selection process, following the adoption of direct primaries and consensus arrangements.
Lagos APC Chairman Cornelius Ojelabi had earlier cautioned party members against violence and anti-party conduct during the primaries held across the state.
Meanwhile, the emergence of Mudashiru Obasa as the party’s candidate for Agege Federal Constituency is expected to generate significant political interest, given his strong influence in Lagos politics and the state legislature.
