This is the first picture of the man who ran off with his friend’s new wife just six days after their wedding.

Ryan Nelson and Meaghan Mitchell ran away together when she returned from her £30,000 fairytale wedding to Andy Mitchell.

According to friends Mr Nelson, 32, from Kelty in Scotland, is understood to have left his partner and her children to be with 21-year-old Meaghan.

Mr Mitchell, 40, was left heartbroken after finding out his new bride had been having an affair with his friend of ten years – but says he has since been inundated with an outpouring of social media support and offers from single women around the globe.

Mr Mitchell, from Fife in Scotland, has put the rings he and Meaghan exchanged at their wedding up for sale online for £400.

He accompanied the listing with the news that just days after the ceremony in Mexico on June 3, he discovered his new wife was having an affair which he claimed started on her hen night.

Mr Mitchell said he had paid £2,000 to have his vasectomy reversed after his new bride said she wanted children.

He claims she later phoned to tell him his friend was ‘better in bed’.

Mr Mitchell told MailOnline he met Meaghan in a pub two years ago and they enjoyed a whirlwind romance.

But he was left devastated when she phoned him after their honeymoon, and told him to leave the house they shared because she was having an affair with his friend.

Mr Mitchell, who has a ten-year-old son from a previous relationship, said Meaghan and her new man were sleeping in a car.

He said his former friend had phoned to tell him he was ‘going to make a go of it with Meaghan.’

Mr Mitchell told MailOnline: ‘I have known him for ten years – we’d have a pint together in the pub.

‘He said he wanted to take my wife. I said good luck – you’ll need it.’

He added: ‘Meaghan used me. I paid for everything, she didn’t even work. The last time I spoke to her she started saying he was so much better than me in bed.’

Meaghan today admitted she had left Andy for another man but insisted they had not slept together until after the wedding.
